Advocate and social activist Jakkula Vamsi Krishna on expressed serious concerns over the operation of a tyre pyrolysis plant in Katep -alli village. Speaking at a press conference held at the Somajiguda Press Club, he alleged that the plant burns waste tyres to extract oil, releasing hazardous pollutants such as PAHs, dioxins, and furans, which are internationally recognized as cancer-causing substances. He urged authorities to take immediate action to safeguard public health and the environment.
